hello i am anita sarkeesian and i am going to show you again how i know nothing about the history of video games

Tomb Raider - Released in 1996

Metroid - Released in 1986

Now I dunno about you, but I think it is pretty easy to assume that in the time span between the releases of these games that there will be other video games that feature playable females. Then of course you can research to check if you are correct.

You know like, for example, Athena; an arcade game developed by SNK and released in the same year as Metroid.

Or its sequel, Psycho Solider, that was released only a year later. it is a very noteworthy title, not because of a female protagonist, because it was the very first game with a vocal in game soundtrack. So it is hard to miss that one.

Let alone all the other games you have missed in a decade between Metroid and Tomb Raider.

Sometimes I hope you are a just pulling our leg with such badly researched and written statements.

Here Anita baby, have a copy of the first Phantasy Star game (1987, starred a female protagonist, was co-created by a woman, Rieko Kodama) and some gum to get the taste of foot out of your stupid mouth
